The work we're part of
We're Ben and Nic. We work with people to make things, from beds and public artworks to tools for sharing stories. These are the main projects we're part of.

01 · Goods on CountryRecycled-plastic beds are a starting point. The work includes testing, delivery and repair, with the aim of making more locally.

Work with us
You can bring us a project of your own, too. We can help with a story, a practical tool, an artwork or something your team wants to learn.
We can work with you on writing, photography, a short film or a publication. We listen to the people involved and work out together what to make, who it is for and what they want to share.
Maybe you need a website, a simple app or a better way to organise information. We start with where people get stuck, build something small and test it with the people who will use it.
We make installations and public artworks that people can take part in, from a phone connecting strangers to CONTAINED, a room that asks what confinement feels like. Bring us the question you want to explore.
Bring something your team is working on. We can shape a session around interviewing, choosing photographs, writing or trying out a tool. You leave with something you have made and a way to keep working on it.
Start a conversation
Tell us what you have in mind, who is involved and where you need a hand. A few lines are enough. We can work out the next step together.
Tell us about itFor stories and updates from the projects, sign up for the field letter.

About ACTArt at ACT
A room, a wall of red tape, a place to speak. We make installations that people can enter and add something of their own.
